Ny motor i Volvo

Flere bilbølader og nettsteder nevner at Volvo kommer med en ny motor, dette skal være en 2.0 liter direkteinnsprøytet bensinmotor på 190 hk

Dette har blitt skrevet om volvos motorrekke:

the new 4 cylinder petrols are currently being developed by volvo at the moment in a mazda-ford-volvo project. The current 1.6 is based on the Ford sigma family and the 1.8 and 2.0 the mazda MZR. The new petrols are lean burn units which currently no one in ford, mazda or volvo is using. Mazda does currently have the 2.3 lean burn.

volvo is keeping the 2.5 T 5 cylinder, the 3.2 6 cylinder and the T6 and the V8. to be added are the new 4 cylinder engines.

The D5 is getting significant upgraded and there is also a new 2.0 diesel which is 90% new and is evolved from the current 2.0D in a Ford-volvo project. PSA arent involved with this new engine which will be built by volvo is Skovde.

add to this, the Recharge powertrain and things are looking good for volvo!

there may also be a new 1.6 with similar upgrades to the 90% new 2.0D
